Samidoh graduates after 7 years of study

Sensational Mugithi singer Samidoh Muchoki is graduating from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) with a degree in Business and Information Technology after seven years of studying.

On his official page, Samidoh, on Friday, June 28, 2024, shared his photo in a graduation gown and disclosed that he is graduating today while congratulating his fellow graduates for the great milestone.

Samidoh’s graduation comes a week after his daughter graduated from high school in the United States.

Samidoh education journey

Narrating his academic journey, On June 24, 2024, Samidoh revealed that he had studied for seven years before attaining the degree adding that he joined the JKUAT Nakuru campus in 2015 but later dropped out.

The mugithi king further stated that he rejoined the campus in 2018 but under a distance learning program (Sodel).

According to Samidoh, his academic journey wasn’t a walk in the park because of the nature of his work.

“I joined JKUAT Nakuru campus academic year 2015/2016 then I dropped out and joined the Sodel program in 2018 because it was more flexible it was a tough journey it has taken me almost seven years it was not a smooth path but I appreciate it was a good experience,” he said.

“It was difficult for me because of my work and my music career, about  my interaction with my fellow students, they were not treating me like a celebrity but like a normal student.”
