Socialite turned business lady Huddah Monroe has reaffirmed her decision to run her church expressing a need for preachers to support her dream.
As seen on her Instagram stories on June 17, 2024, Huddah confirmed her decision to open her church citing that she was tired of some preachers taking advantage of people’s vulnerabilities.
“We can’t continue to sit and watch these people fool our parents, brothers, sisters and cousins. Taking advantage of their vulnerability,” Huddah noted.
Additionally, Huddah acknowledged that she would need help from pastors to help her run her church and its congregation. She added that she doesn’t feel qualified to be a pastor due to her discomfort speaking in front of a congregation.
“I need preachers, I am not a preacher, I can barely talk on a podium,” Huddah noted.
Further, Huddah expressed her belief that genuine pastors would reach out to offer assistance in launching the church and bringing about a new approach to faith and community support.
“I know some pastors who hit on me on the DM I’ll ask them for help to set this up. This is my true calling,” Huddah noted.
In a candid revelation, Huddah Monroe shared her frustration with the exploitation she has witnessed in the religious sector and her determination to make a positive difference through the establishment of Huddah Prosperity Church.
“That’s it!!! I must open a church, Huddah Prosperity Church (HPC) – Transforming lives,” Huddah said.
Huddah’s Church, vision 2026
Huddah’s call for the pastor’s support comes weeks after she revealed that she will be establishing a church in 2026.
On June 4, 2024, through a series of Instagram stories, Huddah who had been away for some time said that she intends to move back to Kenya and start a church.
“The thought of moving back to Kenya permanently after 2 years is really eating my a** because I sold my car thinking I’ll never live there again. But there is a God project that needs my a** to be still. Na vile izo uner ni Mwitu,” Huddah shared.
Huddah added that her church is going to bring positive change and youth engagement.
“If you are an upcoming pastor, prophetess I will be hiring hold onto your Bible and study it. Muslims are also welcome to ‘Huddah Prosperity Church’. A place that gives you peace of mind and changes your life from 0-100,” Huddah announced.
