Bahati reveals why Diana didn’t watch their show untill it got to Netflix

Kenyan celebrity couple Bahati and Daina Marua have been trending on social media platforms following a showbiz stunt they pulled before the launch of ‘The Bahati Empire’.

On Tuesday, June 11, 2024, Bahati took to his official Instagram account and disclosed that he (Bahati) together with the crew behind the production of their reality TV show made sure Diana didn’t watch the show untill it got to Netflix.

The Take it Slow hitmaker further explained that episode four of the show focused on his wife’s past and that during the filming, Diana got emotional at some point while narrating her previous life which is full of sad memories.

“We made sure @Diana_Marua didn’t watch the show until it got to @Netflix on episode 4 (WHO IS DIANA?) we focused on her past and even during filming, things got so emotional bringing up so many sad memories,” he said.

Apologizing to his wife for invading her privacy, Bahati revealed that he was broken after finding Diana watching the episode for the very first time.

“Just found her watching this for the first time and I was broken 💔😭😭😭 Sorry for invading your privacy my Love #THEBAHATISEMPIRE,” he stated.

Diana’s emotional past

In the episode, Diana narrated how she and her two sisters used to visit their grandmother who is now late so that they can be able to reconnect with their late mother who died on March 13, 2009.

The emotional YouTuber went on to say that it’s devastating for them after one year they are going back to visit both their grandmother and mother at the graveyard.

Lakini life ni sad one of the things we used to do when we came to visit shosho go to my mum’s grave speak to her just try to reconnect with her and I can’t believe this time around, one year has passed and now we are going to talk or rather we are going to reconnect with both mom and grandmother,” she narrated,

“Shosho we love you but God loved you more you know she is our guardian angel I know wherever you are may you rest in peace.”

Diana’s past love life

On May 5, 2024, the YouTuber opened up about her past exciting mixed reactions from some of her fans who questioned her honesty despite being in a serious marriage.

The mother of three during an interview with a local TV revealed that she had been in a relationship with two men at the same time one living abroad and the other in the country.
