KFS announces vacancies in senior positions

Kenya Forest Service (KFS) on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, has called the public to apply for various vacancies in senior and junior positions.

In a statement, KFS said that it is seeking qualified and competent individuals to join its team on a permanent and pensionable basis.

“KFS is seeking qualified and competent individuals to join their team on permanent and pensionable terms to enable it to fulfil its mandate effectively and drive the country towards the attainment of 30% tree cover by 2032.” the KFS statement reads.

Here is the list of vacancies for the senior and junior positions announced by the KFS.

Senior officer-business development and marketing one post, aircraft maintenance technician one post.Engineer two posts, ecotourism officer one post, legal officer two posts seo database officer two posts, lecturer eight posts, dispatch officer one post.

ICT assistant ten posts, medical laboratory technician one post, human resource management assistant ii fifteen posts, accounts assistant ii fifteen posts.

Corporate communications assistant three posts administrative assistant five posts, supply chain management assistant eight posts, survey assistant seven posts.

Inspector of Roads seven posts, librarian assistant two posts, assistant office Administrator thirty-two posts, and customer care assistant two posts.

Records management assistant 30 posts, driver 20 posts, plant operator 10 posts, office assistant /nursery/ enumerator thirty-two posts.

How to apply

According to the KFS website, interested and qualified applicants are required to apply through the KFS website and the deadline for application is on Monday, July 1, 2024.

“Qualified and interested applicants who meet the requirements are asked to apply by visiting the Kenya Forest Service website and selecting the JOBS TAB to proceed with the online registration,” KFS said.
