Amber Ray has set the record straight on her swanky new digs. Forget the stairs, her recently acquired residence comes with an elevator.

The businesswoman along with her fiancé Kennedy Rapudo, moved into the lavish 5-bedroom duplex, dispelling previous rumours that they had gone broke.

Responding to a local blogger’s misquotation, Amber Ray clarified that they are paying a monthly rent of Ksh350,000, not the reported Ksh300,000.

Weeh si 300K ni 350K. Please mbona mnatoa hiyo 50K,” Amber Ray corrected.

The mother of two treated fans to a glimpse of her new residence through a video posted on Wednesday, January 31.

The video showcased the features of the house, including the unique addition of an elevator.

The socialite was seen as she descended from the elevator which opened directly into the living space.

Strolling through the living room to the patio, Amber Ray showcased her luxurious home.

Amber Ray, Rapudo broke?

Just a few months ago, the sassy socialite was forced to explain on-air rumours that she and her lover had been evicted from their luxurious apartment for failing to pay rent.

The socialite dispelled the rumour mills noting that they each moved out separately after their split.

She explained that it made no sense for Ken to live in a 5-bedroom apartment alone hence his decision to move shortly after she had left.

“Ken and I separated because of our differences not because we couldn’t keep our house afloat,” the mother of two revealed.

“The rent for both our current apartments combined far exceeds the rent we used to pay in that house. So we never had arrears and we were not kicked out,” Amber added.

“I’m not trying to justify myself but I wouldn’t want to tarnish my reputation with false information online. And with all due respect, people should mind their businesses,” she said.
