Rachel Ruto pens heartfelt message to husband on his 57th birthday

First Lady Rachel Ruto on Thursday, December 21, penned a sweet birthday message to her husband, President William Ruto as he turned 57.

Taking to her official social media pages, the First Lady who also celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary expressed gratitude to the Head of State for the love and support he has shown her through the years.

She also reflected on the journey they shared and acknowledged that their union was cemented by faith, love and hope.

“Happy Birthday, Bill, my cherished friend and confidant. On this momentous day, as we celebrate your birthday and our wedding anniversary, I am filled with gratitude.

Reflecting on the journey we’ve shared, I am reminded of a verse from the Bible, “There are three things that will endure – faith, hope, and love – and the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13 Kwa kweli mambo ni matatu🥰,” she wrote.

Adding:

“Your love and support have been a true blessing. Thank you for being a constant source of joy and strength.”

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua also wished the President a happy birthday via his social media pages.

“Happy Birthday, my brother and my friend President William Ruto,” he wrote.

Defence Cabinet Secretary (CS) Aden Duale also joined the DP in wishing the president well.

In his message, he noted that they had shared so many good times and that he could not wait to see what’s next.

“We have shared so many good times together and I can’t wait to see what’s next! Happy birthday, my friend and the President!” he wrote.
