Samidoh’s estranged wife Edith Nderitu alias Edday has expressed her gratitude to Bernice Saroni for helping her relocate to the US with her three children.
Edday opened up after critics castigated Bernice for ‘breaking up’ her marriage to Samidoh.
TikTok user Charity K commented on a video of Bernice talking about hiding her man and slammed her for inciting Edday to leave her marriage.
“Ndo maana ulitoa Edday kwake,” Charity K commented.
“Yes and am very proud of myself,” Bernice Saroni responded to Charity K.
Bernice Saroni ultimately decided to upload a video where she addressed Charity K and all critics who have been accusing her of wrecking Samidoh and Edday’s marriage.
The mother of four boys stressed that she was super proud to help Edday relocate to the US with her three children.
Bernice further noted that Edday was way happier and at peace in America.
“Side chick yani si hii kitu imewauma na hamtoshekangi. Actually I am super super proud of myself what I did for her. Bringing her to the US, wee unafikiria kukuja US ni rahisi? Na kukuja mbaka na watoi! I am super proud of myself. And let me tell you one thing, today being Thanksgiving one thing that I am grateful to God for is for Edith being in the US. Hamuoni venye anaglow? Huoni venye watoto wake glow mhh? Ama kama hujamuona of late ebu enda kwa page yake umuangalie vile anakaa vizuri, anakaa tu doh. She is blessed, she is happy, she is at peace then ufikirie ati ntafeel vibaya? Aiii, ati ju mimi ni single mom sasa munanijudge ati nilimtoa kwa boma yake? Commenting on Bernice Saroni’s video, Edday Nderitu expressed her gratitude to the mother of four and also confirmed that she was at peace in the US.
Samidoh’s estranged wife further stated that if she had not relocated to America her daughter would be in rehab and that she would be dead and rotting six feet under.
“May God bless you gal, whatever you did to me and my kids it’s something I can’t even explain. My daughter angekua rehab mimi nikiwa 6ft under,” Edday Nderitu wrote.
Toxic environment
Edday Nderitu and her three children moved to the US in early May 2023.
On July 22, 2023, Samidoh’s estranged wife explained that she made a conscious decision to remove herself and her children from a toxic environment.
Edday specifically said that her teenage daughter Shirleen Muchoki was ‘a direct recipient of unbelievable behaviour displayed’.
The mother of three further stated that she was not in a polygamous marriage, adding that she had left her husband Samidoh to ‘whoever needed him more’.
Edday additionally disclosed that she had managed to sustain her children’s needs without any help.
“Lemmie clarify few things that were shared online and not accurate…… I am not in any polygamous marriage as stated I left the husband for whoever needed him more. I made a decision to remove myself and my kids from that toxic environment especially my teen daughter who unfortunately is direct recipient of unbelievable behavior displayed …I have managed to sustain my kids needs so far with no help and I am not regretting any bit of it. About communication and video calls I will leave that one there since some people seems to be present when that is happening but I’m not aware. In this new season of my life I don’t need any drama, I need peace only ,I hope next episode of this series my name will be left out. #nothingbutprayers #powerofprayers,” Edday wrote on her Facebook account.
In a recent post, Edday Nderitu warned her teen daughter that men lie a lot.
Karen Nyamu
In an interview with Plug TV when she was recently in Kenya, Bernice Saroni absolved herself from claims that she had a hand in breaking up Samidoh’s marriage to Edday by aiding her ‘escape’ to the US. She instead shifted the blame to Karen Nyamu.
“There are speculations that you are probably the main reason why she left her husband Samidoh?” Bernice was asked.
“Kwani Samidoh was dating Bernice ama Karen Nyamu?” She rudely dismissed the speculations.
“Venye alienda uku tu akili ikachange akasema she doesn’t want to come back (when she got to the US she changed her mind and said she didn’t want to come back),” the interviewer posed.
“Hio swali ebu endeni mukaulize Karen Nyamu coz ye ndo side chick wa Samidoh not me. Ata sioni Bernice na Karen mahali inakaribiana (that question go and ask Karen Nyamu because she is Samidoh’s side chick not me. I don’t see where Bernice and Karen are related),” Bernice Saroni answered.
The mother of four further insisted that her name shouldn’t be dragged into Samidoh and Edday’s breakup, shifting the blame to Karen Nyamu.
“First of all I wanna make this clear to all Kenyans. When asking me like me ndo nilitoa Edith huku, I am not Karen Nyamu. Kama Edith alitoka huku akaenda US or whatever decision she made I am not responsible for that. So they have to deal with Karen Nyamu, not Bernice Saroni. People should keep me out of that,” Bernice stated.
