President William Ruto has arrived at the Kericho Green Stadium for Mashujaa Day celebrations.
The celebration to be held in South Rift will also see heroes and heroines from the country recognised and honoured.
Universal Health Coverage will be the main theme of the 14th celebration of Mashujaa Day.
Initially, before the 2010 Constitution, the date was celebrated as Kenyatta Day, celebrating Kenyans who fought for the country’s independence.
Upon his arrival, Ruto was welcomed by Chief of Defence Forces Francis Omondi Ogolla, who accompanied him as he inspected a Guard of Honour by the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF).
