Kenyan musician Bahati has officially paid the dowry for his wife, Diana Marua, after seven years of marriage.

Taking to his Instagram, he shared the moment with his fans and followers, revealing that the pair received blessings from his in-laws.

Bahati announced the significant milestone, expressing his excitement about formalizing their union before their official anniversary date.

“It’s official!!! I have finally done the dowry payment and our dad Mzee Omach has blessed us to proceed with the wedding arrangements. Diana didn’t expect this, but I was so eager to formalize our marriage before the official anniversary date this coming 20th October… this was a surprise… gift no.5 is the best so far, but tomorrow’s gifts 6 & 7 will be proof that she’s the queen of my life 🔥🔥🔥,” he shared

Bahati, who is set to celebrate his upcoming anniversary with Diana, has embarked on a week-long celebration, showering his beloved wife with an array of thoughtful gifts.

To mark seven years of marital bliss, the singer pledged to present Diana with seven special gifts and the dowry was one of the surprise gifts he had planned.

Diana Marua, Bahati’s wife, expressed her overwhelming joy in response to the move. She shared her deep affection for her husband.

“My best yet, to the one that Heaven prepared for me. I promise to do what the Bible commands me to. To love and respect you all the days of my life. I can’t wait to say I do. Thank you, babe.”
