Frida Kajala Masanja has once again taken a step towards marriage after accepting a proposal from her secret lover.
The 40-year-old mother of one recently took to social media to show off her engagement ring, joking that her hand felt heavy because she was taken and happy.
“My hand feels heavier today….. I wonder why. Taken and happy,” Kajala wrote.
Kajala got engaged barely a year after breaking up with Harmonize. The Tanzanian actress parted ways with Konde Boy in December 2022.
Harmonize went down on his knee and asked for Kajala’s hand in marriage at a glamour event held in Dar es Salaam on June 24, 2022. However, their relationship ended abruptly before they could walk down the aisle.
Kenyan politician
Kajala moved on fast after breaking up with Harmonize in December 2022. The mother of one revealed she was dating a Kenyan politician during her visit to Nairobi in April 2023.
Speaking to Mzazi Willy M Tuva, Kajala disclosed that she had been dating the mystery Kenyan politician for two months.
Mzazi: Have you moved on?
Kajala: Yes
Mzazi: Kwamba umepata mchumba mwingine? (You have a new lover?)
Kajala: Yes.
Mzazi: Mbona faster? (Why that fast?)
Kajala: Faster how many months? Miezi mingapi imepita?
Mzazi: So you moved on? Uko na nani sasa? (Who are you dating now?)
Kajala: Mtu anatoka Kenya. (Somebody from Kenya)
Mzazi: Ngoja, mhusika anatoka Kenya? (He is from Kenya?)
Kajala: Ndio (yes)
Mzazi: Nani? (Who?)
Kajala: Mtu anajulikana. (He is a famous person).
Mzazi: Mtaje. (Name him)
Kajala: Ahh siwezi. (I can’t).
Mzazi: Mtu maarufu? (He is a famous person?)
Kajala: Yes.
Mzazi: Mtajie mimi (name him for me)
Kajala: Yuko kwenye politics siwezi kumtaja. (He is in politics I can’t name him).
Mzazi: Ohh ni mwana siasa? (He is a politician?)
Kajala: Mhh.
Mzazi: Wewe ndo ulimfwata ama yeye ndo alikufwata? (Are you the one who chased after him or he chased after you?)
Kajala: Mimi nianzaje kumfwata mwanaume? (How do I even start chasing after a man?)
Mzazi: So alianza aje huyu mwanasiasa tutamjua? (How did he start hitting on you?)
Kajala: Alianza kama watu wengine wanavyoanza. (Just the way other people start).
Mzazi: Mda gani? (How long have you been dating the politician?)
Kajala: Unaenda mwezi wa pili. (About two months now)
