Stevo Simple Boy is not yet giving up on pursuing Ngesh romantically even though she warned him against such a move.
Ngesh refused to fall for Simple Boy’s sweet words that were meant to ensnare her and make him the king of her heart.
However, speaking during an interview with vloggers, Simple Boy reiterated his crush on Ngesh.
“Ngesh ni mschana mrembo mtu ameumbika. Akuje kwangu ili tuongee tuone kama tunaweza mingle,” he said.
Stivo warned Ngesh that some men were only interested in her because of her instant fame when he was reminded that she rebuffed his romantic moves because she has a boyfriend.
“Sahi kuna wanaume wengi wanamtaka lakini kuna wale pia wanakuja kudandia umaarufu wake kisha wamuachilie,” he said.
Wife
Asked why he was smitten with Ngesh when he is already a married man, Stivo said that his wife ‘understands’ him.
“Mke wangu ako sawa. Mke wangu pia ananielewa,” he said.
“Lazima uangalie kivutio, kuchovyachovya,” he added.
“Hivi Stevo ungependa kuoa zaidi ya mke mmoja? (So Stevo you like to marry more than one wife?)” He was asked.
Stevo explained he wanted to be polygamous because there are more women than men as per the country’s demographics.
“Unajua sahi kuna waschana wengi lakini wanaume ni wachache,” he said.
Kienyeji
Asked how he would sustain his wives given the tough economic times in Kenya, Simple Boy said he always settles for low-maintenance women popularly known as ‘kienyeji’.
“Mimi sijapenda madem wa Nairobi, wa oshagoo. Vienyeji,” Simple Boy said.
“Unajua vienyeji wanajua kuheshimu ndoa, wanajua kuheshimu mwanaume. Lakini wa Nairobi saa ngapi apake makeup, saa ngapi apikie wanaume unaona. Haimake sense,” he added.
Marriage life
Stevo Simple Boy is married to Grace Atieno whom he only introduced to the public during the burial of his father in January 2023.
The rapper’s wife made headlines in June this year when she came out to accuse his former management of condemning them to unending poverty.
Stevo’s wife admitted that even eating in their house was a big challenge, revealing that they had often slept on an empty stomach.
“Saa zingine zipo chakula lakini kuna time twakosa saa zingine twapata,” she said.
