Rap sensation Ngesh has come out to address concerns about her sexuality amid speculations that she is a lesbian.
The rapper’s tomboy look has made some people believe that she could be a member of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning (LGBTQ+) community.
“Are you dating? Uko na mtu?” Ngesh was asked during an interview with Mboya.
“Ehh mi nko na mtu (I am seeing someone),” Ngesh replied.
She added that her man is based in Naivasha.
“Ako Naivasha.“
Asked if she was a member of the LGBTQ+ community because of her dressing style, Ngesh said she didn’t even know what the acronym stood for.
“Venye unavaa muonekano yako watu wanadhani labda wewe ni wa chama ile ya rainbow ile inajulikana kama LGBTQ?” Ngesh was asked.
“Ahh wapi! Mi siwezi kuwa na ninii kama hizo. Mi ata sijuangi meaning ya hizo letters [LGBTQ],” she clarified.
Ngesh gave an outright ‘no’ response when asked if she has ever been hit on by a fellow woman.
“Na venye umehit hujapata mschana wa hio chama labda amajaribu kukukatia?” Mboya asked Ngesh.
“Aiiii sijapata, sijapata,” she responded.
Asked what would be her reaction if she is seduced by a lesbian, Ngesh stressed that she would not give in to any sweet word coming out of a woman’s tongue because she is contented with her man.
“Na ukipata je mtu wa hio chama anataka kukufanyia?” Ngesh was asked.
“Ntapata aje? Si nimesema tu nko na mtu. Siwezi itikia obvious,” Ngesh said.
