KTN presenter Tony Gachoka was on Wednesday arrested after he allegedly insisted on boarding a plane with alcoholic drinks at Diani Airstrip in Kwale, according to media reports.

Msambweni OCPD Nehemiah Bitok said the Point Blank host became rowdy and hurled insults at passengers who tried to restore calm after he was barred from carrying the drinks on board.

Gachoka is expected to be arraigned on Thursday to answer to charges of causing a disturbance.

It’s not the first time for the scribe to cause controversy.

In 2015, he was banned from appearing as guest on Jeff Koinange Live, which aired on KTN at the time after he allegedly turned up intoxicated and uttered defamatory statements against senior government officials.
