On his official Instagram page, the entertainer announced the good news to his fans and acknowledged God’s blessing in a hearty and confusing caption.
Despite the comedian having a son with controversial journalist Jacque Maribe, Eric Omondi biblically compared himself to Sarah from the Bible who waited for years before being blessed with her own child.
“It has taken me 41 years but finally God has blessed me with my own. The Fruit of my loins. I feel like Sarah of Abraham of the Bible, she waited all her life for a child of her own. Thank you baby for making me a father❤❤🙏🙏🥰🥰. And to God thank you for returning our baby to us.”

Eric Omondi and Lynne miscarriage
In November 2022, the couple lost their first baby together through a miscarriage. Eric Omondi took to his Instagram and posted a heart-shuttering video showing Lynne crying in a hospital bed while he comforted her.
“Last night was one of the Longest nights of my life. We fought for over 5 hours to try and save our little Angel but God had other plans. We never met you but we sure felt you and will Forever Love you. Respect to all Women, no man on earth has that kind of strength Lynne stay strong. It is well,” he shared.
She was seated on the floor and looked like she was going through a lot of pain, and an IV line could be seen attached to her arm.
Eric kept holding onto her and hugging her as she wailed uncontrollably, and her eyes were puffy and sore. He revealed that they had been in the were for more than five hours as the doctors did all they could for them.
The video elicited mixed reactions on the internet as some blasted Eric for posting such a private moment on the internet. While others sympathized with him, others thought it was a publicity stunt.
While rumors had been rife that the Sportpesa ambassador was heavy with child, the couple had not made an announcement until the tragic miscarriage.

Lynne, 21, announced the good news on her Instagram account flaunting her engagement ring and expressing her love for the comedian.
