The voter, Godfrey Musaina, also wants the electoral and boundaries review commission restrained from approving and gazetting the nominations list from Jubilee for the by-elections scheduled for December 15, 2020.

The petitioner also wants party nominations for Gatura ward in Murang’a, Wundayi Mbale Taita Taveta, Kahawa Wendani ward in Kiambu County, Lake View ward in Nakuru County and Kisumu North stopped.

Through his lawyer, Duncan Okumbasu, the voter said every person has a right to institute court proceedings claiming that a right under fundamental freedom in the Bill of Rights has been denied.
