By , October 28, 2024

Mumias East MP Peter Salasya has called upon Kenyan influencers to take a proactive role in the 2027 general elections by helping to ensure that great leaders are elected.

Salasya pointed to recent actions by American celebrities and influencers such as Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and Kelly Rowland, who have publicly endorsed U.S. presidential candidate Kamala Harris, as examples of the powerful role that influencers can play in the political landscape.

Salasya highlighted how these American figures are working to raise awareness about good leadership, urging Kenyan influencers to follow suit.

“The way influencers are playing a good role in ensuring that Americans get good leadership. The Kenyan influencers must also play a role in ensuring we get the right leadership come 2027,” Salasya stated.
