The policeman who allegedly shot and killed a boda boda rider at Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital on February 18, has been charged with murder.
On Thursday, Mr. Zadock Ochuka Oyieka appeared before High Court judge Stella Mutuku and denied the charge.
The prosecution said it intends to call 22 witnesses to testify against the policeman.
Meanwhile, the officer has been remanded at the Industrial Area Prison pending his bail application hearing.
His lawyer said Mr. Oyieka has been in custody since February 20.
