Over 20 youths were on Sunday arrested in Kisumu by police officers after being found engaging in group sex and abusing drugs.

Police said they were tipped off by members of the public who were suspicious of the youths’ activities in the public building.

The house the youths were carousing in, police said, belongs to the Kisumu County government and is under renovation.

The building which is on Tom Mboya Drive in Milimani Estate served as the official residence of the mayor before the advent of devolution.

At the scene, police seized alcoholic beverages and rolls of bhang.

The suspects were transported to the Kisumu Central Police Station as police continue with investigations.

Kisumu Senator Fred Outa, whose building is adjacent to the house, witnessed the incident.
