Mulamwa reveals he’s living in Ksh9000 house days after flaunting thousands on social media

Comedian David Oyando popularly known as Mulamwa has sparked an online reaction after he revealed the amount he pays for rent.

Taking to his Instagram account, Mulamwa asked his funs how much money they were paying as rent. 

In his Insta stories, the comedian revealed that he pays Ksh9,000 for his house after he shared a receipt of his rent payment. 

In a phone call to K24 Digital, Mulamwa confirmed that he is still lives in the same house.

“There is no need for me to stay in a big house when the space I need is less. I’m able to save a lot of money by staying in this house,” the comedian stated.

Gospel musician Alex Apoko popularly known as Ringtone waded into the conversation by commenting using a flame emoji.

On the other hand, fellow comedian Eddie Butita threw a jab at Mulamwa stating that he pays the same amount for his internet subscription.

Pesa yangu ya internet waaaah mimi naharibu pesa,” Butita said.

Comically joining the conversation was comedian YY who said that he pays Ksh2,500 for his rent, a statement that drew a lot of humor. yung.cassim, an Instagram user replied, “kwani unaishi kwa imani?”

On Friday, July 2, Mulamwa treated his fans to a spectacle after he flaunted wads of Ksh1,000 notes on his Instagram account. 

In the video, Mulamwa told his fans that he was excited because he was going to buy his first parcel of land after saving his earnings.

“I want to inspire you today because I am going to buy my first parcel of land. Save whatever you get little by little,” Mulamwa said.
