Modern Coast buses have resumed operations after the National Transport Safety Authority (NTSA) inspected their fleet over the weekend.
Their fleet was grounded last week after two its buses collided on December 12, 2019, along Mombasa-Nairobi highway, killing seven passengers and injuring scores of others.
“We are pleased to inform all our passengers that we have received permission from NTSA to resume normal scheduled bus services from 1.00 pm today the 17.12.2019,” said Modern Coast on Tuesday.
A source at NTSA confirmed to the K24 Digital that the company had been allowed to resume operations.
