A man who video-recorded himself defiling a minor has been arrested.

A police source told K24 Digital that the man was arrested in Kericho town on Saturday afternoo, February 15, 2020.

The source said that the suspect is being held at the Nyagacho police station, which is 3km from Kericho town.

In the video recording that has gone viral, the man is seen defiling a schoolgirl, believed to be 16-years-old, for nearly half an hour.

The video recording has angered many Kenyans online, with many calling for the prosecution of the culprit.

Police are yet to release the name of the suspect.
