Kibicho records statement at DCI HQ after Sonko claims
By K24 Editorial, January 25, 2021The powerful Interior Principal Secretary, Dr. Karanja Kibicho, on Monday presented himself at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations to record a statement.
His statement comes after impeached Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko allegedly implicated him in hooliganism in the 2017 electioneering period.
On Sunday, while addressing the public at a rally in Dagoretti South Constituency in Nairobi, the ex-Nairobi governor claimed that PS Kibicho was involved in the planning of plots to paint the Orange Democratic Movement party in a bad light.
Dr. Kibicho spent a little under two hours after arriving at the DCI headquarters on Kiambu Road, Nairobi County at midday.
After recording his statement, the PS left without addressing the media.
