Kenyans urged to remain calm

At the same time, the embassy urged Kenyans to remain calm, vigilant and respectful of local laws, advising them to report any security concerns or distress situations directly to the High Commission.

The High Commission noted that additional advisories and updates will be issued through its official communication channels and community networks when necessary.

The reassurance comes amid a return to normalcy in Tanzania after a tense post-election period, during which movement restrictions had raised concerns among expatriate communities, including thousands of Kenyans living and working in the country.
