The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced a temporary traffic disruption at Haile Selassie Roundabout on Uhuru Highway from Monday, March 3, 2025, to Monday, April 7, 2025.

In a statement shared on its X account on Friday, February 28, 2025, KeNHA said the traffic disruption is due to scheduled road works for construction of a pedestrian underpass at the section.

“The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) would like to inform the public of a temporary traffic disruption at Haile Selassie Roundabout on Uhuru Highway (A8) Road. This traffic disruption is due to scheduled road works for construction of a pedestrian underpass at the section which will commence from Monday March 3, 2025 to Monday April 7, 2025,” KeNHA stated.

KeNHA has advised motorists to follow the proposed traffic management plan and cooperate with the police and traffic marshalls on site.

This is not the first time traffic is being disrupted at the area for the construction of the underpass.

Early this year, KeNHA closed the section for 35 days from January 16, 2025, until February 20, 2025.
