Kenya Bureau of Standards (Kebs) managing director, Bernard Njiriani, has been arrested.
Njiraini was arrested on Thursday morning by officers from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
The officers took him to record a statement at their Integrity Centre headquarters over alleged failure to comply with EACC requests fro information in an ongoing corruption investigation.
EACC officers said that they will charge with the penal offence of failing to provide documents requested to aid in the investigation of bribery allegations at Kebs procurement department.
