KEBS announces vacancies for senior position

The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) has announced job openings in various departments, offering opportunities for graduates and professionals in diverse fields.

In the job advertisement notice posted on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, KEBS invited applicants from suitable candidates to fill four senior positions.

@KEBS_ke is pleased to announce the availability of vacant positions. All qualified candidates are encouraged to submit their applications. Seize this opportunity to advance your career, and we wish you the utmost success in your submissions,” KEBS announced.

The vacancies announced by KEBS in different departments include Chief Manager, Systems Certification, one position in the department of Certification Body, and Chief Manager, Legal Services, one position in the department of Legal Services.

In the departments of Marketing and Customer Care, KEBS announced two positions, Chief Manager, Marketing & Customer Care and Manager, Corporate Communication.

How to apply

The State Bureau, which is seeking innovative and result-oriented individuals, asked candidates to apply online through its portal before January 13, 2025.

“Vacancy details are to be found on the KEBS website www.kebs.org under the career page. Applications shall be submitted online through the KEBS website/portal to be received on or before 13th January 2025. All testimonials MUST be saved starting with the applicant’s National Identification Number and submitted with the application,” KEBS added.

In addition, KEBS warned applicants against paying recruitment fees, noting that the process will be free and fair.

Meanwhile, it stated that eligible candidates must have academic qualifications of external origin accompanied by a recognition and equation certificate from the relevant body in the country.

“KEBS does not charge any fee in the recruitment process. Persons with disabilities and female candidates are encouraged to apply.

“Academic qualifications of external origin must be accompanied by a recognition and equation certificate from the relevant body in Kenya. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification,” KEBS noted.
