Gachagua takes girl who wowed him, Ruto at Nakuru event to Nairobi school

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has taken Princess Angel, the young who wowed him and President William Ruto during the Akurinu National Prayers Conference at Nakuru High School, Nakuru County a week ago, to a new school.

Gachagua on Monday, June 17, 2024, announced that Princes Angel had joined Utawala Academy in Nairobi.

New chapter

The DP in a post via his official X account said Princes Angel had opened a new chapter in achieving her dream of becoming a lawyer.

“It was an exciting afternoon as Princess Angel joined Utawala Academy, Nairobi, today. A gifted and brilliant poet, Princess has opened a new chapter in achieving her dream of becoming a heavyweight lawyer. We wish the little Princess the very best in her studies,” Gachagua announced.

The young girl recited a poem for President Ruto during the Nakuru event.

Gachagua and Second Lady Pastor Dorcas Rigathi on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, hosted Angel and her mother at their official Karen residence in Nairobi.

After their meeting, Gachagua said that he would sponsor her education.

Gachagua on securing chance

Gachagua further announced that they had already secured admission at Utawala Academy.

The second in command described her as talented, bold and sharp, praising her prowess in poetry, and mastery of English and Swahili.

“Princess Angel is a talented, bold and sharp young girl who wowed President William Samoei Ruto and I, with her profuse, profound prowess in poetry, mastery of English and Swahili, and sweet soothing refined rendition skills during the Akurinu National Prayers Conference at Nakuru High School, Nakuru County on Sunday,” Gachagua said.

Princess Angel’s potential

Gachagua stated that alongside the Second Lady, they had identified talent in Princess and that they would propel it to full potential.

“I was delighted this morning, with my Spouse Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, hosting the pretty Princess and her mother Ann Kariuki for breakfast at the Official Residence in Karen, Nairobi. We have identified the talent; we want to propel her to full potential,” he stated.

Gachagua said the chance secured at Utawala Academy would help the 11-year-old to continue shaping and sharpening her skills, adding that he would take care of her education needs until she becomes a lawyer.

“We have secured an admission at Utawala Academy, Nairobi, for the 11-year-old Princess to continue shaping and sharpening her skills. I will take care of her education needs until she becomes the heavy weight Lawyer she desires to be,” Gachagua noted.
