Elgeyo Marakwet Deputy Governor arrested in Eldoret
By K24 Editorial, March 4, 2021Elgeyo Marakwet Deputy Governor Wisley Rotich has been arrested for obtaining goods under false pretences, K24 Digital has been informed.
Rotich was arrested and taken to the DCI offices in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County on Thursday, March 4.
We understand that the deputy county chief allegedly acquired vehicle tyres on credit from a businessman of Indian descent, but refused to pay.
Upon being pressurised to settle the debt, Rotich allegedly issued a bouncing cheque.
