Deputy President William Ruto on Monday night told off Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi over his crass attack on President Uhuru Kenyatta and former First Lady Mama Ngina Kenyatta.

This follows the vocal MP’s utterances that were shared on social media on Monday, venting after his Emurua Dikirr counterpart was arrested over a viral video clip in which he crudely attacked the Head of State.

Sudi made the comments as security officers trooped MP Ng’eno’s home in Transmara, Narok County to seize the MP.

Dramatic scenes as crowds thronged outside the Ng’eno’s compound, some in vain attempt to stop security officers from arresting the MP.

A contingent of police officers from Dikirr Police Station, including General Service Unit officers from a nearby camp, were at the home to ensure peace and order prevailed.

As the crowd surged the security officers were forced to shoot in the air to disperse them amid heightened tension.
