Cristiano Ronaldo gives his girlfriend Ksh10.5 million per month as pocket money

Juventus FC star Cristiano Ronaldo gives his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, at least Ksh10.5 million (£80,000) per month as pocket money, Italian publication Corriere dello Sport says.

The newspaper says the Portuguese international, 35, gives Rodriguez, 26, the money as “allowance to help her live the high life”.

Cristiano Ronaldo earns at least Ksh3.7 billion (£28million) every year, the publication says.

The former Real Madrid and Manchester United forward and his Spanish lover have one child together, 2-year-old Alana Martina.

Rodriguez, however, raises the talented footballer’s three other children — surrogate twins Eva and Mateo and Cristiano Jr. The 26-year-old model is mostly a stay-at-home mum, says Corriere dello Sport.

Ronaldo and his girlfriend have often been pictured living life in the fast lane, including holidays on yachts, flights in private jets, and routine exchange of expensive gifts.

For his 35th birthday on February 5, Rodriguez treated Ronaldo to a wrapped Mercedes G-Wagon with a basic starting price of Ksh12.2 million (£93,000).

With an Instagram following of 16.7 million, Rodriguez is said to earn a whopping Ksh866, 000 (£6600) per Instagram post advertising a company or product.

The Sun says that life for the 26-year-old professional dancer-turned-model, hasn’t always been sophisticated.

The publication says Rodriguez grew up in the tiny village of Jaca, northern Spain, with her Argentinean former footballer father, Jorge, and Spanish mother, Ana.

As a child, she longed to be a ballet dancer. But because her parents couldn’t afford to send her to dance school, Georgina set her sights on a career in fashion retail instead.

Her time living in cramped apartments and working as a waitress wasn’t for her, and at 19 she moved to Bristol in England, where she worked as a house-help earning Ksh1, 240 (£9.50) an hour.

Once her language skills were up to scratch, she headed back to Spain to pursue her dreams of working in high-end retail in Madrid, says The Sun.

It was then at a Gucci store that she ended up meeting Ronaldo and the rest was history.
