The number of people in Kenya who have tested positive for coronavirus has jumped to 42 after four more cases were confirmed on Sunday.
Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe said that of the four cases, one is a Kenyan and three foreigners (American, Cameroonian and Burkinabe).
Three of those cases are based in Nairobi and one in Mombasa.
Nairobi still leads with the most coronavirus cases, 31. Of the 42 coronavirus cases, 24 are men while 18 are women.
CS Kagwe also hit out at political leaders who are spreading misinformation on social media, calling them immoral.
The Health CS said that, contrary to false figures spread on social media by some politicians, only 2,050 people are in forced quarantined in 14 government-designated facilities.
Kagwe said that the national government will embark on mass testing of people who arrived in the country last week.
Those who will be found positive will be transferred to isolation centres, CS Kagwe said.
