Harrison Karagu, a Nanyuki-based police officer who injured himself after jumping out of his bedroom window mid-slumber, has been transferred to Mathari Mission Hospital in Nyeri “for further treatment”.

It is alleged that Karagu, who is attached to Nanyuki police post, jumped out of the window at 10pm Monday following a bad dream.

The cop sustained cut injuries to his arms and legs, and was taken to Nanyuki Teaching and Referral Hospital on Monday night before being transferred to Mathari Mission Hospital on Tuesday.

Karagu plunged 3 meters from the window stool. Police say the window had no grills.

The matter was reported to Nanyuki Police Station in Laikipia East Sub-County under the OB No. 3/5/11/19.
