The body of a 10-year-old boy has been found dumped in a maize farm in Soliat village, Kuresoi North, Nakuru County.
The boy had been sent to collect firewood on Thursday evening by her mother.
On returning home from a burial, the mother said she found the boy missing.

“We first found little blood, then found more blood and clothes removed. then we found the body tucked in two sacks and tied with ropes,” he said.
He said that he had no injuries but had blood oozing from the nose and had been strangled with a wire.
The over 200 locals alerted the police who arrived at the scene and took the body.
The boy’s father, Albert Kurgat, said that the scene was too horrific and traumatizing.
Police in Kuresoi North Sub-County launched investigations, urging locals to share any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect.
The body is lying at Molo hospital mortuary.
