Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has been arrested on claims that he shot and injured a reveller at a Kilimani nightclub in the wee hours of Friday morning following a quarrel.
Owino has been taken to Kilimani Police Station, where he is being held in custody.
His alleged victim, who is in critical condition, is receiving treatment at a Nairobi hospital.
