Seven more people have tested positive for coronavirus, bringing the total number of those who have tested positive for Covid-19 in Kenya to 179.
Health Chief Administrative Secretary, Dr. Mercy Mwangangi, said that all seven patients have a travel history.
Two of them emanated from quarantine facilities, said Dr. Mwangangi.
On the issue of the 17 MPs who were reported to have tested positive for coronavirus, the Health CAS said that they have not received a formal communication on the cases in Parliament.
But the Health CAS said the government will be rolling out mass testing of institutions soon.
