Twelve people have been arrested in Transamara West, Narok County after two houses and a sugarcane plantation were set ablaze in renewed clashes at Nkararo.
The security team led by Narok County Commissioner Samuel Kimiti has since threatened to extend curfew hours in the area since locals have been breaking the 9 pm to 4 am curfew to engage in skirmishes.
The county commissioner said that security agencies in Narok will not allow violence to continue, adding that the government has already held peace talks in the region.
Kimiti said that no one was injured during the clashes as police intervened to save lives.
He said that cattle rustling has become a menace in Narok South, Narok North, and Transmara West.
Police officers seized three bows and 12 arrows from individuals who were engaged in a fight in the area.
