A section of Kenyans across different parts of the country on Thursday, June 20, 2024, turned up in numbers to protest against the contentious Finance Bill 2024.

The protests which mark the second day this week, are meant to pressure Members of Parliament (MPs) to reject the bill.

Protests have gained momentum across Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret, Nakuru, and Nyeri among others, with citizens calling on the Kenya Kwanza government to drop the entire bill instead of making amendments.
